Viking Schumann and Viking Fontane were both built in 2001. These vessels are each custom designed for European river cruising. Enjoy the exceptional service onboard and you won’t be disappointed. These ships carry 124 guests onboard. All the staterooms are outside staterooms with river view. Cat A & Cat B staterooms also have a large window that opens. Featuring a shaded sun deck affording 360-degree views, restaurant, bar & observation lounge with panoramic windows, the best views are guaranteed. Both of the vessels also have a sauna onboard. TV, phone, safe & an individual climate control in every stateroom along with onboard amenities such as boutique and a complimentary wireless internet. Viking Schumann sails the Elbe River from Germany to Czech Republic (Elegant Elbe cruise) and Viking Fontane sails the Moselle, Rhine and Main Rivers in Germany (Vineyards & Vistas).
