Viking Helvetia was fully renovated in 2005 and Viking Sun was fully renovated in 2006. These vessels are of the finest quality, each custom designed for the European river cruising. Enjoy the exceptional service onboard and you won’t be disappointed. Both of the vessels carry 198 guests onboard. All the staterooms are outside staterooms with river view, and the deluxe staterooms have hotel-style beds, and the staterooms on the upper deck have a French balcony with sliding glass doors. Featuring a shaded sun deck affording 360-degree views, restaurant, bar & observation lounge with panoramic windows, the best views are guaranteed. Flat-panel TV, phone, safe & an individual climate control in every stateroom along with onboard amenities such as library, boutique and a complimentary wireless internet. These vessels sail along the Rhine River.
