Summer vacations for American winter

Holland America Line has given nine of its ships summer vacation itineraries for the northern American 2010/11 winter. Passengers wanting a warm water holiday during this time can choose from a range of six- to 25-day cruises to the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Mexico and Hawaii from October through to April 2011.

Each cruise boasts plenty of ports, including Oahu, Maui, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rica, Acapulco, Belize and Barbados, as well as Holland America Line';s own private island, Half Moon Cay, where guests can sail, snorkel and horse-ride. The best about these itineraries is the optional convenience of combining cruises to create a longer, custom holiday with more ports of call.
