Holland America Line stirs European waters
Thursday February 4, 2010

Responding to a growing interest in cruising Europe, Holland America Line has based seven ships in the region for the 2011 cruise season.
Proving there will be cruises for all types, the new schedule includes two historical trans-Atlantic crossings, short 12-day cruises, longer 45-day explorer voyages, 15 maiden calls and overnight visits at 16 different ports.
For those looking for extra luxury, the major drawcards will be Holland America Line';s premium Signature-class ships, ms Nieuw Amsterdam. She will sail various 12-day itineraries, as well as two seven-day Mediterranean cruises, while the first Signature-class ship, Eurodam, will sail two Mediterranean cruises before continuing the season sailing Northern Europe.
