Uniworld River Cruises

For nearly four decades, Uniworld has taken guests to the world's greatest destinations: Europe, Russia, Ukraine, the Black Sea, China and Egypt. Travel Corporation, parent company of many popular travel companies, purchased Uniworld in 2006.

Uniworld's 10 boutique, hotel-style ships have been completely refurbished to the highest standard of comfort, so guests travel from one exciting destination to the next with access to stylish lounges, cosy libraries, panoramic restaurants offering sumptuous cuisine and inviting river-view staterooms.

The company jointly operates one river cruise ship, Douro Queen, in Portugal; and river cruise ships, Litvinov and Taras Shevchenko, in Russia. Ships used in the Egypt program are under charter agreements, and in China, space is booked through an affiliation with the premiere five-star river cruise ships of Victoria Cruises.

Uniworld Cruises employs an all-English crew of professionally trained staff. All announcements are made only in English. Unlike many companies offering river cruise programs in Europe and elsewhere, Uniworld is an American company focused on North American, British and Australian travellers.

Uniworld has made major investments in its ships. The ultimate goal of this investment is to provide first-class, hotel style, European river cruises.
