A week-long cruise awaits aboard the state-of-the-art ms Swiss Sapphire as it meanders its way past castles, vineyards and historic villages along the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers in the gracious style once reserved for the nobility. Walk in the footsteps of the rich and famous of the past as you visit the glamorous spa town of Baden-Baden and its elegant Casino, enjoy an exclusive private tour of the Strahov Monastery libraries in Prague, and discover what royal life was like in palaces like the Heidelberger Schloss, Würzberg’s imposing Residenz, and Prague Castle. Dining

Open dining, with no assigned seats; tables seat 4 and 6. Wine with dinner included. Restaurant offers an elegant, fine dining experience. The Lido Bar in the stern has a 180° glass wall that opens for an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour, and offers alternative bistro dining featuring lighter fare. Tauck also include some meals off the river boat at local restaurants.

Accommodation

Each riverboat boasts 14 luxurious suites with marble baths and 7 junior suites ; four times as many suites as most other riverboats. Floor-to-ceiling windows and French balconies grace 85 per cent of cabins. All cabins feature plush bathrobes and L’Occitane amenities. Enjoy tastefully appointed river-view cabins equipped with TV, safe, hair dryer, air conditioning, a private bathroom with shower and minibar
