What's new?

In July 2010, the Nieuw Amsterdam, joins the recently launched Eurodam to further define and expand the Holland America Line premium brand. From May 2010 Holland America Line is also introducing 14-day Alaskan Adventurer cruises to complement its extensive selection of 7-day itineraries; in response to interest in longer Alaska itineraries. It will be the first time a major cruise line will visit Anchorage. Other features include visits to new ports Homer and Kodiak as well as Tracy Arm fjord, the Hubbard Glacier and many more.

With more than 135 years of experience, Holland America Line is recognised as the undisputed leader in the cruise industry's premium segment. Following the introduction of the 1,918-passenger ms Noordam in early 2006 and the new Signature Class vessel; the 2,104 passenger ms Eurodam in June 2008; and the Nieuw Amsterdam with its inaugural cruise in July 2010, Holland America Line's fleet will grow to 15 ships, and the line now offers nearly 500 cruises from more than 25 home ports each year. Itineraries range from two to 111 days and visit all seven continents, including Australia/New Zealand and Asia, World Voyages and popular sailings to several ports in the Caribbean, Alaska, Mexico and Europe. Holland America Line's $525 million, fleet-wide Signature of Excellence enhancements feature new programs and amenities including the Culinary Arts Centre presented by Food & Wine magazine " a state-of-the-art onboard show kitchen where more than 60 celebrated guest chefs and culinary experts provide cooking demonstrations and classes. Features also include the Explorations Cafe powered by The New York Times, teens-only activity areas and all new stateroom amenities highlighted by flat-screen TVs and plush top Mariner's Dream beds.
