Discover the Kimberley

Adventurers from around the world are drawn to the Kimberley, as much for the challenge of travelling this rugged region as for its incredible landscapes. With turquoise waters, towering cliffs and spectacular waterfalls, the Kimberley coast is irresistible and will draw you back time and time again. The Kimberley's inland highlights - Purnululu National Park with its mysterious Bungle Bungle Range, the expansive wilderness of El Questro Wilderness Park and beautiful Geikie Gorge - are similarly appealing. APT has combined the best of the Kimberley coast with the best of the inland to give you a comprehensive taste of this untamed region. Explore the waters by stylish small ship and tour the inland region by coach or custom-built 4WD on an unforgettable adventure into Australia's last frontier, with APT your spoilt for choice.

Explore the Mitchell Plateau

Lying at the north-west tip of the Kimberley, the Mitchell Plateau is a wonderland of rainforest, open woodland and Gwion (Bradshaw) artwork. It's one of the Kimberley's best kept secrets and its remote locations means it's only accessible by foot or by helicopter, the journey to the falls is well worth the effort.

Mighty Rivers and King Cascades

Discover the Buccaneer Archipelago, known as the 'Thousand Islands', as well as the amazing eleven metre tides that create the Horizontal Waterfalls. Cruise the Prince Regent River to the awe-inspiring King Cascades with its tiered waterfalls, view a diverse range of wildlife including turtles at Lacepede Island, see Montgomery Reef rise out of the sea as the tide goes out and then disappear a few hours later as the tide comes back in again, and discover rarely seen Aboriginal rock art.

Oceanic Discoverer - Outstanding Kimberley Cruising

The modern Oceanic Discoverer offers an outstanding small ship cruising experience. It is small enough to access remote reef and island sites inaccessible to large vessels, while still presenting the facilities you would expect from a much larger ship.

Accommodating just 72 guests, the ship features all the modern comforts - for your cruising enjoyment. Soak in the spa, lounge about on the Sun Deck or enjoy a drink in one of the two cocktail bars, perhaps relax in the onboard library or check your email at the internet station. The Xplorer tenders and Inflatable excursion Zodiacs take you even closer to the local highlights, including an adventurous ride through the Horizontal Falls. The elegant staterooms feature twin through to junior king-size double bedding, individual air-conditioning, large windows with ocean views and private ensuite facilities.

Coral Princess - Legendary Catamaran Cruising

The custom-made Coral Princess was designed with comfort and style in mind. This 35-metre catamaran accommodates a maximum of just 48 guests, meaning you'll enjoy an intimate atmosphere as you explore all the delights the Kimberley has to offer.

On board you will enjoy resort-style living at its best. The ship boasts an elegant dining room with a separate lounge, a well-stocked cocktail bar, a restaurant serving sumptuous cuisine and a large Sun Deck with an inviting spa pool.

With range of spacious and elegantly appointed accommodation, you're truly spoilt for choice. All rooms come with private ensuites, individual climate control and are serviced daily. For the ultimate cruising experience, you may choose to upgrade to a Deluxe Stateroom. Offering 17 square metres of space, stylish furnishings and sweeping ocean views, in these superior surrounds you'll see the beauty of the Kimberley coast in absolute style.
